Grievances Redressal Committee

A Grievance is any discontent or dissatisfaction, whether expressed or not, whether valid or not, arising out of anything connected with the Institute that a student or an employee thinks, believes, or feels is unfair, unjust, or inequitable.

The College has a Students' Grievance Redressal Committee to look into the complaints lodged by any student and judge its merit. The Committee is also empowered to look into matters of harassment. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the Grievance Redressal Committee members in person or lodge an online complaint. Grievances may also be sent through email to the officer in charge of the Students' Grievance Redressal Committee or to the Principal.

Objectives of the Grievance Redressal Committee

✔️ Link with a well-defined Disciplinary System to make it acceptable to all.
✔️ Ensure prompt action for better redressal of grievances.
✔️ Make the redressal process fair, impartial, and consistent, with prior warnings where needed.
✔️ Focus on preventing misconduct rather than controlling it with punishments.
✔️ Advise students to refrain from inciting others against fellow students, teachers, and college administration.
✔️ Advise all staff members to be affectionate and supportive to students, avoiding vindictive behavior.
✔️ Enforce that ragging in any form is strictly prohibited; any incidents should be reported immediately to the Principal.
