About CSE Department

Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is a dynamic and ever-evolving discipline, vital across a diverse range of industries. The CSE program at MAM Women's Engineering College blends advanced academic instruction with real-world application, ensuring students gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to excel in today’s digital world.

Established in 2008 with an initial intake of 60 students, the CSE Department has grown steadily, currently admitting 120 undergraduate students and offering a postgraduate program (M.Tech - CSE) with an intake of 24 students. The department focuses on delivering high-quality education, driven by a curriculum that keeps pace with technological advancements in the industry.

The department takes pride in its strong placement record, with around 90% of eligible students securing positions in top multinational companies. Students are actively encouraged to participate in paper presentations, hackathons, sports, and cultural activities, fostering their all-around development.

The CSE department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories housing 150 high-configuration systems, all preloaded with the latest development software and tools. Students are trained in cutting-edge areas including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, and Software Development.

The curriculum emphasizes emerging technologies and practical exposure, preparing students not just for immediate employment but also to innovate, adapt, and thrive in a rapidly changing global environment.
